Description
UNCOVERED BY BULLDOZER--A World War II vintage shell 5 inches in diameter is removed by an Army ordnance specialist at a construction site at 6703 Foothill Blvd. in Tujunga. The shell, presumed to be live, was sent to the 70th Explosives Ordnance Depot in San Diego. Police said the construction site may have been a military range or training area during war.
