Description
DISCHARGED--A smiling Betty Ford leaves Long Beach Naval Hospital after undergoing nearly four weeks of reportedly successful treatment for drug and alcohol dependence. The former First Lady, feeling "just fine," left for home at Rancho Mirage near Palm Springs. A spokesman said she will not return to hospital and will not be taking any pain-killing drugs for her arthritis.
