ANSWER: Yep, it's the Islander, the municipal ferry that shuttles back and forth between San Pedro and Terminal Island across the main channel of Los Angeles Harbor.
KNOW YOUR CITY, NO.87 -- Here's something that's really in a rut. Of course you can guess what it is because in all the city, this is the only one of its kind. Whoever invented phrase, "to and fro" had this in mind. Answer Page 8, Part 1A.
