ANSWER: The handsome structure in the photo is the main building of John Marshall High School at 3939 Tracy St., in the Los Feliz-Silver Lake district. Inasmuch as the school is named after the great Chief Justice it is only natural that its athletic teams are known as the Barristers. KNOW YOUR CITY, NO.150 -- Well, the young people who occupy this building call themselves Barristers. They aren't lawyers, but the institution is named after one. And that should suffice in the hint department. See Page 37, Part 1.
