Description: Falkenstein's sculpture was in front of the California Federal Savings and Loan at 5670 Wilshire Blvd. In the 1990's vandals cut it up and sold the copper for scrap.
PLANNED CASCADE-Mrs. Claire Falkenstein, Venice, sculptor, has fashioned this "sculptured water" fountain for the front of a Wilshire Boulevard skyscraper. She made it entirely of copper tubing, with bits of Venetian glass interspersed. It will resemble breaking wave when water pulses through.
