Description
Falkenstein's sculpture was in front of the California Federal Savings and Loan at 5670 Wilshire Blvd. In the 1990's vandals cut it up and sold the copper for scrap.
PLANNED CASCADE-Mrs. Claire Falkenstein, Venice, sculptor, has fashioned this "sculptured water" fountain for the front of a Wilshire Boulevard skyscraper. She made it entirely of copper tubing, with bits of Venetian glass interspersed. It will resemble breaking wave when water pulses through.
