Description
THOUSANDS MASS ON CITY HALL STEPS TO DEMAND MORE JOBS: More than 1000 persons assemble on City Hall steps under auspices of Workers' Alliance and Labor's Nonpartisan League, demanding "jobs, not relief." Their demonstration followed cuts in relief checks and layoffs in W.P.A. and S.R.A. Officials of the C.I.O. promised workers their aid in campaign.
