BACK TO SCHOOL FOR SOME-Eighth graders file into the American Martyrs School in Manhattan Beach on Tuesday, typical of 191,000 youngsters reporting to classes in the country's 366 Catholic schools. Still on vacation-until public schools open next Monday-are Frank Seamas on skateboard, Holly Edwards and Paul Steinbroner carrying the surfboard and Bud Fitch on the bike.
