Description
SIGNS OF DISCONTENT--Nurses from UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Institute conduct and "information picket line" at a campus entrance to protest their failure to receive a pay increase as well as budget cuts for the State Department of Mental Hygiene, which has jurisdiction over the nurses. Three-fourths of the 114 nurses at the institute previously had announced plans to resign their positions effective May 1.
