Description
Debut--Andre Previn conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic for the first times as its music director Thursday evening at the Music Center. Selections included Ellen Zwilich's "Celebration for Orchestra" and symphonies by Mozart and Prokofiev. Previn became the ninth conductor of the orchestra, succeeding Carlo Maria Giulini.
