ANTIRIOT EQUIPMENT--Officer William J. Perry, left, in flack suit and with new shotgun and officer Jack Moutes with gas mask and fiber shield for protection against rocks and bottles. In front of them are tear gas gun and grenades and long and short range projectiles. Gear is part of antiriot defense.
