Description
Arraigned--Arnel Salvatierra and his attorney, Marcia Morrisey, as he pleaded not guilty Thursday in Glendale Municipal Court to the slaying of this father, Filipino-American newspaper executive Oscar Salvatierra, 41. His 17-year-old son, who will be tried as an adult in the Feb. 19 killing, and his girlfriend, Teressa Deburger, who has been charged as an accomplice, face a preliminary hearing May 30 in Glendale. The death of the father was at first thought related to political turmoil in the Philippines.
