Description
ROMAN'S GAMES: HARD AT WORK--Ram quarterback Roman Gabriel fades back to pass during an informal workout. What does the National Football League's Most Valuable Player do during the dispute between the Players' Assn. and the club owners? He works out on his own to get ready for the coming season. Ram quarterback Roman Gabriel, the NFL's best last year, was hard at work at Long Beach's Blair Field earlier this week until commissioner Pete Rozelle ordered the training facilities closed to veteran players. But Gabriel, simply moved across the street to Wilson High and continued his conditioning drills.
