Description
. . . And Not a Soul Singing 'O Sole Mio' These gondoliers of L.A.'s Venice have no customers to sing to, but they keep to a schedule--digging debris from the area's canals. It is a daily task for city employes [sic], who have found such objects as a case of dynamite, a doctor's bag and a motorcycle. While poling their "gondolas" along, there have been a half dozen occasions when they have rescued children who fell into the water.
