Description
ECOLOGY ORIENTED'--The first of 200 new buses being put into service by the Southern California Rapid Transit District are shown off at the company yards. The buses, costing $8.4 million, are air conditioned, radio equipped and "ecology oriented," that is, they have the latest in pollution controls. Half the cost has been provided by a grant from Urban Mass Transit Administration.
