Description
Handwritten on drawing: Desert life / weave a suede jersey short john under suede half-jeans / #2733 / antee-heavy(?) / stitch in white / short Johns / real (underlined) short / Bonnie Cashin / July/69 Sketch of two models. The first model wears a "short john" (a long-sleeved front-buttoning leotard with a collar). The second model wears a "short John" (patched at the elbow) with half-jeans. The half-jeans are cut vertically to cover the front of the model and to leave the back uncovered. Bands at waist, thigh, knee, and calf hold the material in place.
