Handwritten on drawing: putting it all together -- in layers -- for social hours -- a long dark slim tube of jersey -- add a leather overskirt / bright -- top with a brighter yet canvas covering / [swatch notes:] quilted, lined in canvas - pheasant / pheasant [dress] / [overskirt:] big toggle , cut edge unfinished / dress #3855, apron # , cape #2089 / Bonnie Cashin / Feb./71
Coordinated dress, overskirt and cape. Slim, jersey maxi dress with long sleeves and hood (or funnel neck), worn with a short, leather overskirt, with a coordinating canvas cape which is accented with a leather placket.
