Description
Illustration text: "Put yourself in a harmony of colors. Start with a beautifully tailored shirt, maybe in indigo. Pair it with another intense blue like peacock. Swath the hips with a great bias of colorful plaid in wildly contrasting colors. Pick up one of the colors in a striped turban which you tie yourself. Add a shoulder pouch & boots, & swing into Fall."
Sketch of an African American woman wearing a tailored shirt and pleated skirt, with plaid fabric wrapped around her waist. She is also wearing a turban. Signed by Bonnie Cashin.
