Description
Drawing of a tree. A timeline from 1980 to 1984 travels up the trunk of the tree, with branches and leaves showing what should occur during that year. This subseries contains Bonnie Cashin's illustrations of her ideal work and studio environment, titled "Bonnie Cashin's Place." Text: "China" appears under the roots of the tree. ID 1980: "Program development applications, etc.; talent scouts; research- sources to reach talent; enlist more 'Why not' people; 1st: booklet- statement of purpose; fund raising, innovative ideas; public information- media; finance/investment, money growth." ID 1981 ($25,000): "Innovative school award; emperor's clothes award for journalism; innovative retailor (i.e. retailer); innovative manufacturer award; super teacher award; new think grant; the indoor environment grant; the outdoor environment grant; creative concept in clothing grant; Diogones gooml [sic] scholar "Get out of my light." ID 1982 ($500,000, a place?): "More funding areas." ID 1983 ($1,000,000): "Seminars, encounters; quarterly publicaition (i.e. publication) ID in touch." ID 1984: "flowering." At the top of the drawing: "Up, up and away."
