Clipping from the Baltimore, M.D., News-Post: "Spring (Fashions) Just 'Round Corner / New Spring Fashions were modeled by Mrs. John T. Roberts, Jr., at the fashion show for the National Alumni Association of the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, [...]The suit is a Bonny Cashin Knit ensemble." With a photograph of Mrs. Roberts wearing a knot dress and holding the matching jacket. Clipping of an article that appeared in over 90 newspapers, as indicated by newspaper names on strips of paper next to the clipping: "Smart Spring Casuals for Moderns / by Dorothy Roe / Assoicated Press Fashion Editor / BonnieCashin is a designer who has visualized 'kind of woman' and "' kind of life' as her guide in creating fashions[...]" with four photographs of models, one wearing a short hooded coat, another in a knit 2-piece dress, the third in a calf-length coat and the fourth in a knit dress. Clipping from the Raleigh, N.C., Times, stamped Feb. 6 1953: "Bonnie Cashin Designs Knited Wear / By Marian Rahl / From early beginnings, when they were devised merely for protection against elements, knitted clothes have advanced to a point where they hold an important niche in in fashion[...]" Includes a photograph of a model wearing a knit dress and matching jacket from the manufacturer Joseph Guttman.
