Clipping 3, Cleveland, Ohio, News, 5/1/1953 ; "Bonnie Cashin had bicycling along country lanes on her mind when she designed torso-long cardigan (above). [...] at Halle's for $29.95" with a photograph of a model wearing the cardigan.
Alice Hughes was a newspaper columnist and foreign correspondent. Jane Kehrer Horrocks was the fashion editor of The Citizen-Journal from 1946 to 1979.
Clipping 2, Dallas, Texas, Times-Herald, 4/1953: "Knitted wardrobe is coronation-bound / By Alice Hughes / Written Exclusively for The Times Herald" with two photographs of models wearing Bonnie Cashin travel knitwear recommended for travel to events surrounding the coronation of queen Elizabeth II, and one photograph of Alice Hughes.
