Description
Text of press release: "Bonnie Cashin designates her new collection for Philip Sills & Company as a“non- seasonal spring,” thereby translating her design philosophy that clothes should go beyond fashion, and should prove a certain kind of joy in thewearing -- regardless of current fads or fancies.According to Bonnie Cashin, a suit is a collection of parts to be suitable in.For this two-piece non-tweedy-type suit, she has selected an English wool and silk fabric in clear white and blue. A special feature is the detachablecrisp pique collar that makes a definite statement, with tracings of white leather outlining the jacket. The skirt hugs the hipline and then flares out into a swingy, pleated swirl. The shoulder bag is Coach Leatherware’s carry-all, also designed by BonnieCashin.Suit - No. 3736/6)4.72 - Sizes 6 to 11i. - $200.00.Available in your city."
