A bomb destroyed the building in Box Canyon, near Simi Valley and Chatsworth.
Daily Mirror caption: Fireman plays hoses on smoking ruins of bombed building near Chatsworth where nine are feared dead. The blast ignited tinder-dry brush in the surrounding area and other fire companies are battling to keep it from spreading. At right is recent pho of Krishna Venta, sect leader, believed dead in fire.
