Mrs. W.E. Beatty, chairman of the bowling event held during the Los Feliz Woman's Club and Glendale Athletic Club's Field Day Challenge. This event, which was held in May of 1939, was the first time in the history of local woman's clubs that a field day featuring two clubs in competiton occurred
