All information concerning the content and description of the image was provided by Walter Gordon.
The Charioteers were an African American gospel group formed by William (Billy) Williams. Williams was the lead tenor, Eddie Jackson was second tenor, Ira Williams was baritone, and Howard Daniel was the bass vocalist. Not pictured was their pianist, James Sherman.
