All information concerning the content and description of the image was provided by Walter Gordon. Dorothea Towles is seated at the far left of the front row. Hazel Shumate is seated at the far right of the 2nd row back. The others in the photo are unidentified. Photograph most likely taken at a fashion show sponsored by Hollywood hair stylist Dorothy Woodson at the Club Plantation on 108th Street and Central Avenue. The show focused on the latest hairstyles and the proper hats to go with each.
