Close-up of the exterior of the Tupolev ANT-25 flown by Mikhail Gromov, Andrei Yumashev, and Sergei Danilin from Moscow to a field outside San Jacinto, CA. The non-stop flight covered 6700 miles in 62 hours and 12 minutes, smashing the previous record for longest non-stop flight. July 14, 1937.
