Loyola Lions' head coach Tom Lieb, right in white fedora, assists referees helping a player during a game against Buck Shaw's Santa Clara Broncos. Shaw's Broncos won the game and finished the 1937 season undefeated. They went on to beat LSU in the 1938 Sugar Bowl. October 24, 1937.
