Craft workers on strike stand outside Metro-Goldwyn Mayer Studios in Culver City. Nearly 2500 craft studio workers went on strike against major motion picture studios, including MGM, Warner Brothers, and Paramount. The strike was issued by Charles Lessing, president of the Federated Motion Picture Crafts, and the American Federation of Labor.
