Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. The statue of Prometheus Bringing Fire to Earth in Los Angeles' downtown Westlake Park (now MacArthur Park). Icelandic sculptor Nina Saemundsson crafted the statue in 1935 under Los Angeles' City Parks board's Public Works of Art Project.
