Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Sheep corrals at the Guajome Ranch House, as mentioned by the character Ramona in Helen Hunt Jackson's novel. The ranch house was built in 1852-1853 as the headquarters for the Rancho Guajome Mexican land grant; it is a large Spanish Colonial hacienda with two courtyards.
