View of Castle Rock from the west. The large conical rock is at center, jutting out over a sandy beach at right. There is another large rock in the water near Castle Rock. The two-lane Pacific Coast Highway winds its way along the shore at center. The left side of the road is bordered by steep mountains covered in low brush. Castle rock was leveled in the mid 1950's and is now paved over. Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds.
