Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photograph of the Geyser Springs Stage loaded with passengers. The stage coach is being pulled by a team of four horses that is standing at left. The stage is at right and has two sets of large wooden wheels, the back set being bigger than the front. There are four bench seats in the stage, lined up one behind the other, and all are facing to the left. The driver sits on the bench furthest to the left and holds the reins to the team. The back three benches are covered by a cloth. All of the seats are occupied. The stage is stopped in front of a large wooden building that is partially obscured from view by a line of tall trees. A wooden picket fence runs between the trees and the street.
