C. C. Pierce made several photographs of stately Victorian residences on Figueroa Street between 1880 and 1890. The scale of the homes and the landscaping in this photograph is entirely consistent with the Figueroa images.
Two Victorian residences, probably on Figueroa Street. The foreground residence in covered in rusticated stone, has three visible chimneys and a faceted and crenellated tower. The deep lawn has a pine tree, low palm trees and low border hedges.
