View of the Hotel Windermere by the Sea in Santa Monica (renamed Windemere Hotel) View of the beach in Santa Monica from a pergola-covered walkway (in Crescent Bay Park between Blicknell Ave., Bay St. and Ocean Front Walk). The walkway consists of a brick path flanked by a colonnade supporting a roof of wooden beams. There are benches on both sides of the path, and a couple is seated on a bench at left, reading. A large grassy area is beyond the colonnade at right, and the ocean is visible further in the distance. In the background at center is a short pier with a very large three story building on it. The words "Café Nat Goodwin" are painted on the side of the building. Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds.
