Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Plan contains two sketches of roadside development for Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills. The sketches show variant plans for the intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica (lat/long coordinates are for this sketch). The The zone was created to separate the residential district from the Boulevard and included pedestrian paths and gardens. The electric bronze fountain illuminated by colored lights was installed at the corner of Wilshire and Santa Monica in 1930. Signed: Ralph D. Cornell - Del.
