The plan shows Rustic Canyon Creek running through the center of the park; Rustic Canyon Creek is just east of Will Rogers State Historic Park in an area with private residences. Plan shows Reseda Boulevard intersecting with Sunset Boulevard. According to Los Angeles Times, March 20, 1998, "Crossroads of Confusion," a plan to extend Reseda to Sunset and the Santa Monica area began in the 1920s and was scrapped in 1977.
