Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Grounds at Parc de Saint-Cloud. Saint-Cloud is an affluent area in the western suburbs of Paris. This was the site of Château de Saint-Cloud, which was destroyed during the Franco-Prussian War in 1870. Now, the grounds remain as part of the Parc de Saint-Cloud. This view shows a large pool and the beginning of a walkway lined with large trees and a series of small statues. Text from nitrate negative sleeve: Paris 1929
