Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Alcázar of Segovia, or Segovia Castle, built on a rocky outcrop in Segovia, Spain. The castle is distinctively shaped liked the bow of a ship. It was originally built as a fortress but has also been used as a royal palace, state prison, Royal Artillery College and a military academy.
