The ruins of Mission La Purísima Concepción, or La Purisima Mission. The original mission was damaged in 1812 by an earthquake and rebuilt in a new location. These buildings were then abadoned in 1843 and fell mostly into disrepair until December 7, 1941, the day of the fully restored mission's dedication.
