Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. The ruins of Mission La Purísima Concepción, or La Purisima Mission. The original mission was damaged in 1812 by an earthquake and rebuilt in a new location. These buildings were then abadoned in 1843 and fell mostly into disrepair until December 7, 1941, the day of the fully restored mission's dedication.
