Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Photo was taken in Córdoba during the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929, a world's fair held in Seville, Spain which took place between May 9, 1929 and June 21, 1930. After a several year period of not contributing buildings to world's fairs, the United States built three structures for Seville. Patio of the Casa del Marques de Viana, with a container plant garden, a vine-covered wall and a pavement made from oval river stones, which is a distinctive pavement type in Cordoba.
