Handwritten on edge of nitrate negative: 1858 The adobe of Manuel Dominguez, on the Mexican land grant of Rancho San Pedro, was completed in 1826. The Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum is listed on the city of Carson web site as 18127 Alameda Street, in Carson. This address is actually in unincorporated Los Angeles County, closely surrounded by Carson, Compton, and Long Beach.
