Text reads: Adelbert Bartlett, 1572 West Pico Blvd, Los Angeles. Negative. Miss May Betteridge, newly elected "Queen" of the California calavo-avacado [sic] industry, presiding over a sale of the famous salad fruit in Los Angeles. The largest avacado in foreground is between 4 and 5 inches in height. The varieties shown, which are popular with the trade, are, left to right, Pueblo; Topa Topa; Dickinson; Itzanana; Fuerte; Linscott. (See complete story enclosed.) [Handwritten]: 2661. Exclusive
