Text from negative sleeve: San Joaquin Valley, orchard near Merced, 1927. Apricot orchard. Uncle Harve Brillhart with whom Adelbert lived 1897 to 1906 in Idaho (near Renduck, Idaho).
Harve Baillhart, uncle of Adelbert Bartlett, at his apricot orchard, holding his cat, "Puss." Brillhart has a mustache and is wearing overalls and a button-down work shirt. The typewritten description of this group of photographs (uclamss_1300_0338i ) locates the orchard near the town of Patterson
