The curbs and sidewalks are complete. Three trucks with asphalt, two asphalt rollers and fifteen workers holding rakes and shovels are on the road as a man in a light colored suit and cap standing near a parked car observes. Signs on the asphalt trucks read: "...REX TEELE, INC.,...Santa Monica." Signs on the rollers read: "L.A. Paving Co. Incorporated, E. R. Werdin, Gen. Mgr."
