Description
A very similar image appears in a brochure with a 1935 copyright date Actors performing a scene from the New Testament for the Sunday Players radio show. This scene involves the Ascension during which Jesus leaves his earthly body for heaven. The Sunday Players originated in Colorado Springs before their program garnered national attention and received a three-year contract from Merten's and Price, Inc., of Los Angeles.
