Description
First page of a booklet advertisement for the Sunday Players radio program. The actors are featured prominently in costume as biblical figures. The Sunday Players originated in Colorado Springs before their program garnered national attention and received a three-year contract from Merten's and Price, Inc., of Los Angeles.
The text reads: The Sunday Players. "The Ober-Ammergau of the Air." The world's only pernamently incorporated dramatic group engaged in producing Biblical radio drama exclusively. Sponsored by Minneapolis Church Federation and made possible by the courtesy of Minnesota-Acacia Park Cemetary, Pilot Knob, Mendota.
