Text from nitrate negative sleeve: Morro Bay, Morro rock, 1929. Famous Morro rock, 500 feet high, in Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo County; also view of fishing boats in bay. Morro rock is a landmark for ships at sea, was discovered by early Spanish explorers. Also view of oak trees at the farming colony of Atascadero back of Morro Bay.
