Handwritten at edge of negative: 2631 P2 8th annual Pioneers of Hollywood picnic and reunion, Plummer Park, Hollywood. Cf. Los Angeles Times, August 2, 1931. Eugene R. Plummer and his family once owned sections of Los Angeles including the Hancock Park area, mid-Wilshire, Hollywood Hills, and West Hollywood. The site of his home was purchased by the County of Los Angeles in 1937 and is known as Plummer Park, West Hollywood. Text from nitrate negative sleeve: 2361 8/1/31 Col.
