Text from nitrate negative sleeve: 197801979 Pomona, 1929. 9, 6&8. Photo by Adelbert Bartlett, 535 15th Street, Santa Monica, Calif. One of California's most famous eucalypti-lined motor roads, near Pomona, Los Angeles County. The trees here are 75 to 100 feet tall, having been planted 40 years ago. The road runs thru orange groves. These trees are green all year, especially in winter after fall rains. Eucalyptus tree was introduced into U S from Australia. [Struck out: 236R1694]
