Text from nitrate negative sleeve: 2077 2078 - 2079 - 2080 [other numbers torn off at top] Pasadena Rose Tournament NYear 1927 to 1950, 11, 6x8 [Struck out: 1926, 192[4?] 2081 2082 2083 Panorama of Santa Monica bay from Palisades Park, showing beach clubs popular with movie and tourist groups] Handwritten at edge of negative: 2079 Archway of flowers representing a hill with cottages and with a floral "Beverly Hills" sign, with floral globe within the arch, with woman in hat visible over top of arch at left, small group of people visible through arch. The float was entered by the city of Beverly Hills. Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. 1927 was the first year the the Tournament of Roses Parade had a theme, "Songs in Flowers," with each float typifying a song
